“Faith With Integrity.” That’s what the Laurel church is about. We unapologetically consider Jesus of Nazareth to be God’s Son and the Bible to be God’s Word. We believe the evidence supports these convictions.

Yet, we are painfully aware of the endless stream of abuses that have been committed through the ages in Jesus’ name. Some people focus on their faith and ignore the abuses. Others focus on the abuses and use this as a justification to abandon faith. At Laurel, we focus on the evidence – striving to be as fair and honest with it as we can. Sometimes that puts us in the mainstream of Christian thought. Sometimes it doesn’t. Our commitment is not to following a particular religious tradition, but to following the data wherever it leads.
