Children at Laurel come from all over the greater Knoxville community, so we emphasize relationship-building in our classes and activities. We offer classes for all age groups on Sundays and Wednesdays, as well as Kids Worship Down Under for children ages 3 years-third grade during the 11:00 Sunday worship service. We organize many fun events throughout the year, such as Vacation Bible School and Fall Festival, for families from Laurel and the surrounding community. We have a playground families use during church events, and teachers use during Bible classes. A nursery for infants and toddlers is provided during services.
- To share God’s love and his plan for our lives as we build relationships with children and their families
- To teach children God’s Word in engaging, hands-on, age-appropriate ways that will impact them for a lifetime
- To encourage and equip families to participate together in worship and in the work of the church
