Camp Barnabas 2026

Hello all! For the youth group’s mission trip this summer we’ve decided to return to Camp Barnabas in Purdy, Missouri. Camp Barnabas is a Christian summer camp for individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses. For more information about the camp click here to browse their website. The dates of our trip will be June 5-13. Students aged 15 and up at the time of the trip will be paired off with a camper 1-1 and will serve as their caretaker for the week while students aged 13-14 can serve as a “Barnstormer” working in the kitchen. The cost is $310 per person, but, as always with mission trips, the goal will be to fundraise enough so that no students/families have to spend any $ out of pocket.

We’re a little behind schedule on assembling our mission team, so anyone interested in attending should fill out the interest form here and make plans to help out with Solid Rock on Sunday April 26th. If possible, I’d like to have our team finalized by the end of March so we can begin meeting together as a team and completing our online training through the Barnabas portal.
