Whitney Holt
Whitney grew up in the small town of Windthorst, TX. She attended Tarleton State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communications. During her time at Tarleton, Whitney was heavily involved in the Texans for Christ campus ministry, where she met her husband, Taylor Holt. The two were married in December of 2013.
After graduating, Whitney moved to Breckenridge, where she worked as a high school teacher and coach while also helping with the youth ministry Taylor led. In 2017, when Taylor became the campus minister for Texans for Christ at Tarleton, Whitney stepped into the role of stay-at-home mom while continuing to serve part-time in campus ministry alongside him.
After serving for several years in Stephenville, Whitney and Taylor moved to Murray, KY, to help lead Racer Campus Ministry at Murray State University. In May 2026, their family moved to Knoxville, where Whitney now homeschools their four children while also serving part-time at the Christian Student Center at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
Whitney loves building relationships with students, opening her home to others, and helping create a Christ-centered community where people feel known, loved, and encouraged in their faith.
